Formerly the Public Information Officer for the City of Gaithersburg, Maryland, Suzi left the corporate world after 20+ years to move to the country with her husband, Steve, and become a stay-at-home-Mom for her two beautiful children, Sophie and Max. Two children soon turned into three with the addition of baby Carly. With nothing else to do all day besides parent three kids, be the perfect wife and homemaker, be Room Mother and chief taxi driver for the family, Suzi needed to find something more to do with her abundance of free time. So she bought an embroidery machine and got busy.
Her love of sewing and embroidery has led to a "cottage mom" business that allows her to contribute to her family's finances while affording her the flexibility to be with her children. Suzi now runs a successful home-based business and online store (www.SuziHomemaker.net) and is a member of many civic and business organizations, including the Professional Business Women's Association and the National Network of Embroidery Professionals.
