Dallas is over; Atlanta here we come. We're shipping quickly but if you're waiting until Market to place your order, please understand that we will not be shipping those orders as quickly as the online orders have been going out. Now that we're in the thick of things, online orders may be slowing down to 3-4 work days to ship. Market orders will ship on a FCFS basis & those will begin to ship as soon as we get home (July 22). You know what I love most about this time of year? It may be the busiest time & most stressful preparing for Hotlanta & Dallas, but my customers come through to help. This year has been especially challenging without my right-hand-lady & I miss her so much. I really appreciate the help that some of you have offered! So 41 days until Altanta. Today I finished the new price list & order forms, post card design, & a new ad. Then got ready to send it all over to the appropriate people &...FAIL. Awesome! Files are all corrupt. Tomorrow's a new day...I'm going to try to get all of the new samples monogrammed before Courtney goes into labor & get them all up on the web before we leave, too. So here we go...we're in full swing! Atlanta is just around the corner, & school isn't even out--yet Back To School orders are shipping out in full force already. Thanks, my Mint friends! Your early planning is really going to help us stay on top of inventory this summer, & I thank you. We hit the beach any time we get the chance, and we love to look for shells. Well guess what I'm going to say next...do I really have to say what we've used to collect our shells before...(roll your eyes now) yes, a SNACK SQUARE. Just be sure not to repeat our mistake & have a few live shells mixed in with the empty ones in the zipped bag in the back of a hot rental car over a long hot weekend. Yuck. :)
Chocolate bars, marshmallows, graham crackers...we even mixed it up and used the little Ghiradelli caramel-filled sqaures...mmmm...everything fits right inside the snack square for a camp out! Pack it all up & when the sun goes down, send the kids out to look for the perfect sticks to burn their marshmallows & you're all set. Snack squares are not fire proof. You know boys & fires...
