I can't believe it...we're already here. It's almost summer! Just a little more than a month until Dallas Market and a few weeks after that, we'll be shopping (just kidding, showing) at the Atlanta Market. we've got 'em! they're finally here & they're so darn precious. they're great for fingerpainting & painting rocks (we did that this weekend!), great for playing in the sink, and perfect to wear when mixing/eating the chocolate chip cookie dough. jack even wore his smock in the garden this weekend while we planted our sunflowers...they're great for everything. click on 'smocks' in the product catagories to see all available styles!
I really want to thank Lauren, Courtney, & Chris for everything they do every single day to make mint™ so darn great. Besides designing cute stuff, traveling together, packing orders, & putting up with all of the accounting stuff, they've become family. I just wanted y'all to know what awesome people are on your team! We're all so lucky to have them.
People! We are almost sold out of the new stuff...we haven't even posted them online yet. New pics will be online around the end of the month; you can order online when they come in (if they aren't all taken from Market!). More is on the way, however...we tripled the 2nd shipment due to response at Market, so we should have plenty by mid-March. By the way--thanks for asking about Jack's birthday! It was awesome. Man, 5 is so cool. I may post a pic of the battery-powered Ducati! Cooo--ooo---lll rider.
Home again, for a few more weeks. We've been super-busy trying to catch up and we've had all sorts of exciting things happen. For one, some of our brand new items were picked up by a really great, nationally-circulated catalog. Or two. In addition to that, we broke records at both markets for gaining new customers, total orders written, pens lost, catalogs distributed, and jewelry purchased (shh). Man, that was so great. Tomorrow, my Jack is turning 5! Woo, hoo! What a great start to 2008. Thanks, all!
The show is winding down today in Atlanta...three more hours and we'll start tearing down displays & undressing our dress forms to pack for Dallas. We had such a great time seeing all of you again and meeting our new customers in person, & hanging out with our trade show friends.

Here we are, wrapping up an incredible year. Lauren, Chris, and I are so grateful for all of you and for all of your loyal retail customers. You guys are the greatest! Over this week of Christmas vacation, I've been checking online orders and online access requests for new businesses every day...wow...it never stopped or slowed down! We even got orders and requests on Christmas day. This only inspires us further. Wait until you see the new line at Market this month.
